
A personal theory of what the Loch Ness monster really is. By Nat. :p
So! On the photo on the left is the infamous first Loch Ness monster, or Nessie photo. To me what it looks like is an orca (see fins on right of photo). Orcas have been spotted in fresh bodies of water all around the world. And one of the Orcas migrating paths are around the seas of Scotland. I think an Orca got into the River Oich from the sea and got stuck there a bit. Male orca’s dorsal fins can grow up to 6 feet long. And when they don’t get a lot of exercise the lack of water pressure created the fin to begin dropping. Like you’d see at Sea World or something. So I think that photo is a stranded Orca in Loch Ness with his fin beginning to droop from not being in the Ocean. Meow.
